Unlike a structural frame, a turnkey steel building will have the primary and secondary framing completed, along with all of your components, features, and additions ready to use. What features are included in these buildings?
The specific features of a turnkey design-build construction service will depend on what you want for the building itself. However, the most common features will include the following systems that are fully installed:
Frame.
Any steel building that we build here at Boyers will have at least the primary and secondary framing in place. Primary framing consists of the weight-bearing columns secured to anchor pins and the weight-bearing beams in the roof. The secondary framing includes the fabricated metal pieces that join and bind these columns and beams to create a structurally sound building.
Roof.
As we get a bit of weather in Northwest Ohio, our turnkey metal buildings will come with a roofing system that is designed to protect the primary and secondary framing. Our roof panels include the CFR Standing Seam Roof System, Loc Seam Vertical Rib Standing Seam, R-Panel, and Translucent Roof Panels, all designed to align perfectly with and work with our Nucor Building System frames.

Instead, every building we design is custom-engineered by our designers and fabricated by Nucor to meet your exact dimensions and the specific building codes here in Northwest Ohio. This custom fabrication allows us to design your building to match your specific footprint, and whether we are doing something simple or complex, your building will be made to fit your building site like a glove.
What is the lead time for fabrication?
As a Nucor Building System Partner, we can skip the line with our preferred supply chain access to fabrication facilities. This means that we can schedule your assembly and build in a matter of weeks rather than months. For our teams, the biggest time commitments are typically to local permitting or the design phase, with actual fabrication and on-site assembly taking only a few weeks for simple projects.
What building code is used as the standard for your steel buildings?
